Hi Dan
you make a good point.
We only have one or two problems: the first is that almost nobody wants to trim the trails, ( please read my new post for more details) and the second one is that of priorities for those that do.
Hopefully a lot of the vegetation growth in general will be trimmed back shortly (the Council will be undertaking some work) and then we can see what is left, and who would like to attack the remainder,
cheers
Rob
I would be happy to volunteer to get out there once a month or maybe I could adopt a certain trail and just do it when it starts getting overgrown.
Give me a call or an email to let me know what needs doing.

Hello
Michael, you have mail :-)
And Jay, that is a very good idea.
Clearing tracks properly at Makara Peak does require a little knowledge on what to trim, which natives like to be released and which do not etc, and how to most efficiently to trim it.
I think a Workshop is a fine idea, and shall talk to the trimming Gurus about their ideas on timing
Cheers
